June 21st and 22nd 2011 IDB Technologies attended the 13th annual S2K conference in 2011, this being a UK premier conference for semiconductor, MNT and related technologies. This years conference focus was on innovation in advanced manufacturing processes.www.semiconductor2k.com
The conference was held at the University of Surrey, where again it proved to be very successful with over 130 delegates in attendance over the two days.
The Conference included key talks by: Bernie Capraro, Intel; Malcolm Penn, Future Horizons; Malcolm Hannaby, Technology Strategy Board; Lothar Pfizner, Fraunhofer Institute; Stephane Donnay, IMEC; Robert Bowman, Seagate/QUB; Ian Underwood, University of Edinburgh.
September 22nd and 23rd 2011 IDB Technologies will be attending the JEMI visit and workshops at the University of Liverpool. This exciting programme of technical presentations, workshops and exhibits will run over 2 days and is open to all. Register at JEMI LIVERPOOL VISIT to come and join in
September 27th to 29th 2011 IDB Technologies will be attending MEMS/ Nano Live at
the NEC in Birmingham. This exhibition and technical workshops will run alongside
MM Live and brings together the MEMS and Nanotechnology sectors in a unique assembly

Case Award Student graduates
Over the last 3 years IDB Technologies has sponsored a Phd student, Ruth Mackay, at the University of Dundee. Ruth obtained her Doctorate in June 2011. Well done Ruth who now continues her career at Brunel University
